Boltskipper is a portmanteaus of "bolt" and [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mudskipper mudskipper]. However, the two large, electric blue lightning bolts protruding from its large orange mouth more closely resemble the barbels of a [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catfish catfish]. Its underbelly is white, and it has four fins it uses to "walk" and a lighter blue tail fin.
