Introduction
I entered the new Cozy Farm with an old habit: spread Fertilizer across every crop, make each plant look respectable, and hope the heaviest one paid me back. That approach wastes the number that now matters most.
The new farm revolves around invited support and its displayed Grow Value. That percentage controls how much weight I gain from regular Fertilizer and affects the crop's hourly Natural Growth. A crop that already weighs 185,000 kg does not become more efficient just because it is huge. At the same Grow Value, another Fertilizer use still adds the same regular amount.
I tested supports at 255%, 244%, 243%, and 126%. Now I secure the strongest support early and put most of my stack into one crop. It leaves an uneven field, but I will take extra weight over neat rows.
Quick answer
Pick the support with the highest Grow Value, invite it before spending Fertilizer, and concentrate your Fertilizer on that crop. In my checks, a 255% Tideon carrot gained 3,550 kg from a normal use. A 244% frog crop gained 3,440 kg, while two 243% crops gained 3,430 kg. The crop's current weight did not reduce those regular gains.
The displayed 16% critical chance adds the random spike. A critical use can return two to five times the normal weight, but I never build my plan around hitting one. I compare the guaranteed regular value first.
I still spread a small amount when a crop is close to the yellow rarity threshold. Reaching yellow produced an extra 40 or 80 kg in my runs. After that one-time push, I go back to the best Grow Value instead of feeding every plot equally.
Saving Fertilizer until the last day works because the regular return does not shrink as a crop gets heavier. I invite support early for Natural Growth, though. If a 250% or better option appears before the final day, I use it instead of gambling that the last rotation will beat it.
What the new Cozy Farm numbers mean
The screen puts several numbers beside each crop. They do different jobs, and mixing them up leads to bad spending.
| Farm stat | What it tells me | How I use it | | --- | --- | --- | | Grow Value | The support multiplier attached to the crop | My first comparison before spending Fertilizer | | Crop weight | The crop's current total kg | Progress and reward weight, not a better rate for the next use | | Rarity color | A threshold reward after enough weight | I consider a small split when yellow is close | | Natural Growth | Automatic weight added each hour | A reason to invite strong support early | | Critical chance | A random multiplier on a Fertilizer use | A bonus, never the foundation of my plan |
Grow Value deserves the first glance. Weight tells me how far a crop has already gone, but Grow Value tells me what the next Fertilizer use does. A giant crop with a weak support can still be the worse place for the next thousand Fertilizer.
My Fertilizer test results
I compared normal Fertilizer gains without counting critical hits. The regular result stayed fixed for each displayed Grow Value.
| Support and crop | Grow Value | Regular weight gained | | --- | ---: | ---: | | Tideon carrot | 255% | 3,550 kg | | Frog crop | 244% | 3,440 kg | | Bat crop | 243% | 3,430 kg | | Panda crop | 243% | 3,430 kg |
The 255% carrot paid 100 kg more per normal use than the 244% crop and 120 kg more than the 243% crops. One use barely moves the screen. A large saved stack makes the gap expensive.
Suppose I make 100 normal uses. The 255% support produces 355,000 kg from those regular results. The 244% support produces 344,000 kg. That is an 11,000 kg difference before Natural Growth, rarity bonuses, or critical hits enter the picture.
This is why I stopped splitting Fertilizer to keep the field tidy. Equal piles feel organized, but the farm does not award style points.
I invite the strongest support first
Support affects both the Fertilizer bonus and Natural Growth, so timing matters. I inspect every available support percentage as soon as the event opens. The strongest one gets my main crop slot before I spend.
The tutorial can place a support automatically. Mine showed 126%, and that support had already joined its plot. I did not feed that plot simply because the tutorial pointed at it. Another available support had more than 240% Grow Value, so the tutorial crop became a passive side crop while the stronger plot received my stack.
My opening routine takes less than a minute:
- I open each available support and read its Grow Value.
- I note the highest percentage rather than the biggest existing crop.
- I invite that support before using Fertilizer.
- I check whether another crop sits close to yellow rarity.
- I spend the main stack on the highest percentage.
Getting support in place early also starts the hourly growth on better terms. Waiting until the final hour to invite anyone throws away passive weight even if I saved every Fertilizer item.
Does a heavier crop improve Fertilizer value?
No. My 255% carrot already weighed about 185,000 kg, yet each normal Fertilizer use continued to add 3,550 kg. The return did not climb with total weight, and it did not fall after repeated feeding.
That result answered two questions I had. I do not need to warm up a crop before it becomes efficient, and I do not need to abandon a heavy crop because of diminishing returns. The support percentage sets the regular gain.
Crop weight still matters for progress and rarity thresholds. It simply does not make the next normal Fertilizer use stronger. When two plots compete for my stack, I compare Grow Value first and check rarity distance second.
What rarity color changes
Crops begin at a lower color and move up after reaching weight thresholds. When my crops reached yellow, I recorded a small one-time weight bump of either 40 or 80 kg. The bonus varied between the crops I checked.
That bump matters most on a small Fertilizer budget. If one cheap use crosses the threshold, I take the bonus. I do not keep feeding a weaker support after the color changes.
A nearby yellow threshold can earn a small detour, but it does not beat a large Grow Value gap over dozens of uses. I take the easy threshold reward, then return to the crop paying the best regular rate.
How Natural Growth works in practice
Natural Growth adds weight automatically every hour. I recorded the crop weights before an hourly tick and compared them afterward.
| Grow Value range | Hourly weight I observed | | --- | ---: | | 126% tutorial support | 6 kg | | Supports around 200% or higher | 10 kg |
The already heavy crops did not receive a larger hourly gain because of their total weight. The support percentage affected the tick, while the existing kilograms did not create compounding growth.
Ten kilograms per hour is small beside a 3,550 kg Fertilizer use. I still claim it because inviting support costs far less than wasting a whole day of hourly ticks. Natural Growth is background value. Fertilizer placement decides the main result.
I do not stare at the farm every hour for a 10 kg tick. I invite the best support I have, let the timer work, and return when I am ready to spend or check a new support rotation.
What the 16% critical chance changes
Each Fertilizer use displays a 16% critical chance. A successful critical can multiply the weight gain by two, three, four, or five times. That creates some ridiculous jumps, but it remains random.
I judge supports with their normal numbers because those are repeatable. The 255% carrot gives me 3,550 kg without a critical. If it spikes, good. If it does not, the support still beat the 243% option by 120 kg.
I also avoid moving Fertilizer to a weaker plot after it lands one large critical. The hit did not improve that plot's future rate. It won one roll. The next normal use returns to the number set by Grow Value.
For the same reason, one ugly dry streak does not make a strong support bad. Six or seven normal results in a row can happen with a 16% chance. I keep feeding the better baseline and let the criticals arrive without chasing them.
Should I split Fertilizer across crops?
Most of the time, no. I put the majority into the crop with the highest Grow Value.
I split only for a specific reason:
- A small spend will push another crop into yellow rarity.
- An evolution task requires Fertilizer use and I need to check its event progress.
- Two supports show the same Grow Value, so either crop returns the same regular weight.
None of those reasons supports an equal three-way split by default. With 255%, 244%, and 243% on the screen, the 255% plot gets the main stack. The difference compounds with every normal use.
Players working on an evolution can cross-check the required amount in my Tatari evolution order guide. I still spend toward the best farm return while completing the task. Burning Fertilizer on a weak plot does not make the evolution bar fill with more dignity.
Should I save everything for the last day?
The fixed regular gain makes a final-day dump possible. A heavy crop keeps accepting Fertilizer at the same rate, so I do not lose efficiency by waiting.
Waiting has a real risk: the last support choices can be worse than an earlier 255% option. I use a middle path.
- I invite the best support early so Natural Growth starts immediately.
- I hold most Fertilizer when the available Grow Values are weak.
- I spend when a support reaches a number I am happy to lock in.
- I clear the remaining stack before the event deadline.
For my account, 250% or better is strong enough to stop waiting. A player seeing 220% as the best offer can hold the stack for another rotation, provided there is enough time left to spend everything.
The final day also fits players who collect Cozy Farm rewards and then move their event resources into a planned Pinball reward route. I set an alarm. "I was saving it" is a poor explanation for thousands of unused Fertilizer after the event closes.
My complete Cozy Farm routine
I use the same order every time the event returns.
At the start
I inspect all support percentages and invite the best one. I ignore the tutorial's suggested crop when its support is weaker. Then I record the normal gain from one Fertilizer use so I know the current baseline.
During the event
I let Natural Growth tick and check new support options when they refresh. If a crop sits one small push from yellow, I collect that threshold bonus. The rest stays concentrated on the best Grow Value.
Before the event ends
I compare the final support options, use every remaining Fertilizer item, and claim the reachable rewards. I leave enough time to finish the taps instead of opening the farm with thirty seconds left and discovering how slowly a large stack disappears.
Mistakes that cut my crop weight
I spend before inviting support
Fertilizer used under a weaker percentage is gone. I choose support first.
I feed the tutorial crop automatically
The tutorial placed a 126% support on my farm. A different plot above 240% paid far more per use.
I treat current weight as a multiplier
A crop at 185,000 kg still gave the same 3,550 kg normal result. Existing weight did not boost the next use.
I split the stack for symmetry
Three equal crops can produce less total weight than one crop under the best support. I split for a nearby rarity threshold, not appearance.
I budget around critical hits
The 16% roll is a bonus. I use the regular gain for comparisons and reward planning.
I wait until the last minute
Saving until the final day works. Saving until the final seconds is how Fertilizer survives the event and my patience does not.
My recommendation
I now read the support percentage before I look at crop weight. The numbers from my farm explain why: 255% returned 3,550 kg, 244% returned 3,440 kg, and 243% returned 3,430 kg on normal uses. I invite the strongest support early and keep most Fertilizer together.
An easy yellow rarity bump still gets my attention when it sits close. The hourly Natural Growth and 16% critical roll add extra weight, but the regular return decides where I spend.
If a strong support appears early, I use it. If every option is weak, I save the stack and check again. That beats spreading Fertilizer across a pretty field and praying all three crops become special.
FAQ
What is the most important stat in the new Cozy Farm?
Grow Value is my first check. It controls the regular weight gained from Fertilizer and affects hourly Natural Growth. I choose the highest displayed percentage before comparing crop weight or color.
Does crop weight increase Fertilizer value?
No. A carrot at roughly 185,000 kg continued to gain 3,550 kg per normal use under a 255% support. The existing weight did not raise or reduce that return.
Should I split Fertilizer between every crop?
I concentrate most Fertilizer on the crop with the highest Grow Value. I make a small detour only when another crop is close to the yellow rarity reward or when two supports have the same percentage.
How much does Natural Growth add?
After one hourly tick, my 126% support added 6 kg. Supports around 200% or higher added 10 kg. Existing crop weight did not make the hourly gain larger.
Can I save Fertilizer until the last day?
Yes. Regular Fertilizer value stayed fixed as the crop grew heavier. Invite support early for Natural Growth, then spend before the deadline on the strongest Grow Value available.
What is the Cozy Farm critical chance?
The displayed critical chance is 16%. A critical Fertilizer use can multiply the normal weight gain by two to five times, so I treat it as bonus weight rather than expected progress.
